FORMATURA A CERA PERSA
La particolarità del processo e le caratteristiche dei materiali ceramici usati per la forma favoriscono la riproduzione dei dettagli più fini e degli spessori sottili, con rugosità superficiale migliore di 3.2 Ru, ristrette tolleranze dimensionali e buone proprietà metallurgiche. Può essere usato per tutti gli acciai, leghe e superleghe e ha minori limitazioni di geometria rispetto agli altri sistemi.
Da uno stampo generalmente in alluminio si ricava, iniettando cera semiliquida, il modello del getto da realizzare. Poi, tramite immersioni in una particolare miscela ceramica di uno o più modelli assemblati attorno ad un supporto centrale, si crea un guscio con spessore atto a resistere alle pressioni metallostatiche della lega. Dopo essicazione del rivestimento si evacua la cera in autoclave e si ceramizza il tutto ad alta temperatura. Si andrà poi a colare con la forma calda.
